I see you want to know more about me. Here’s my story!
Growing up with technology around me, I had my first hands-on experience with the computer at the age of 9. The first computer language that I became familiar with was HTML, which I started learning at the age of 11. Static web pages were the trend at that time and I was passionate about creating them. However, technology evolves rapidly and websites became much more dynamic.
So I pushed myself to pick up PHP when I was 13. As the years passed I explored different ways in building up websites, creating simple CMS with PHP, examining WordPress, designing templates, and then integrating them into WordPress.
Not wanting to limit myself to just a few programming languages, I continue to equip myself with other languages such as CSS, Javascript, as well as targeting different platforms like web front-end applications, back-end servers, and also mobile applications.
Interestingly I went for a Bachelor Degree of Fine Arts In Interactive Media. In my university I picked up drawing skills, 3d animation, video production, photography as part of my core curriculum. In my major, I had hands-on experience with microcontrollers and sensors such as Arduino.
Now I’m currently with Skyscanner as a Software Engineer, working on production systems and improving applications to give an awesome experience to our fellow travellers.
I’m constantly looking for ways to improve my technical skills and my goal is to share my knowledge with others out there and to also build scalable and sustainable applications that deliver value to its customers.
